Though Lawrence Laverne may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lawrence Laverne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Denman and Velva Denman (Fry); his brothers, James N. and Argus (Dick); his sister-in-law Jo Ann (Shelby); and his grandson Michael Denman (Jean).
He is survived by: his significant other Janice Derlein; and his sons, Randy L. (Debra), Richard L. (Holly) and Brian J. (Rebecca). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Portage United Methodist Church (1804 New Pinery Rd, Portage, WI 53901). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
