She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Peters Selkey and Mary Agnes Selkey; her husband Earl Bodien; her siblings, Susan, Judy and John; and her sister-in-law Diane Selkey.

She is survived by: her brothers, Fred C. Selkey, Carl K. Selkey and Peter A. Selkey. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Columbia County Humane Society.
