Verburgt Sr. (Portage, Wisconsin), born in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 3, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter and Mabel Verburgt, Sr. (Smith); his wife Ann Stajkowski; his daughter Tammy; his siblings, Charles "Chuck", Peter, Jr., Martin, Chrystal Schoenbein and Marvel Akins; and his friend Jack Thompson.

He is survived by: his children, Tom, Jr. Verburgt (Heather), Betty Smith (Bruce) and Peggy Verburgt; his grandson Mitchell; and his sisters, Mabel Cadigan and Laurel Slepicka. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
