It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer Hanson of Poynette, Wisconsin, born in Rio, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 28, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Hanson and Inga Hanson (Alme); and his siblings, Philip, Greg, Lorraine and Roberta.

He is survived by : his wife Joanne Mayr; his daughter Jennifer Watts (Damon); and his grandsons, AJ Treinen and Mason Treinen. He is also survived by several brothers, sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
