It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monte Showers of Poynette, Wisconsin, born in Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 1, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles "Chuck" and LaRue Showers (Vanderhoef); his wife Kathleen P. Connelly; his son Michael; his son-in-law Jack; and his brother Leonard.

He is survived by : his children, Robert Showers, Vicky Kelley, April Corning (David) and Laureen Gilray; his daughter-in-law Julie Showers; and his siblings, Terry (Bev), Norman (Mary Lou) and Randy. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren.
