She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Ellsworth and Edna Martha Hakeman (Zahren); her husband Harold Joe James; her parents-in-law, Glen and Flossie James; her brothers, Harold Hakeman, Rodney Hakeman and Glen Hakeman; her sisters-in-law, Faye Hakeman (Brewster) and Pauline Hakeman (Briggs); her son-in-law Dale Greimann; and her brother-in-law Donald James.
She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Greimann of Pawleys Island and Brenda James (Greg) of West Union, Iowa; her granddaughters, Jaclyn Greimann of Philadelphia, Leslie Schulte (Adam) of Omaha, Katie Slack (Wayne) of Dike and Sarah Miller (Chris) of Waverly, Iowa; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Hakeman and Rebecca Anne James (Rice). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
