He was predeceased by: his parents, John Everts and Angie Everts (Gallagher); his wife Rose; his grandson David Evans; and his siblings, James, William and Eileen Stotz.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Slife (Steve) and JoAnn Evans (Blair Dillman); his grandchildren, Jeff Slife, Jenny Coleman (Keith) and Jodi Evans; his great grandchildren, Stephen Evans (Keasha), Miranda Rose Slife (Jayce), Drake Coleman (Brooke Engelheart), Dylan Coleman (Jayde Schubert), Sammy, Maddison Rose Achman and Charlie Evans; his great great grandchildren, Taylor and Finn Evans; and his cousin Johnny Gallagher of Cedar Rapids, IA..
