He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Sr. Sime and Grace Sime (Helgerson); his former wife Alice Kapanke; his son Daniel H. Sime; his son-in-law Rodney Bolstad; and his siblings, Kermit Sime, Clarabelle Horner and Arlene Deml.
He is survived by: his friends, Herman and Sandra Lee Hauge; his wife Sandra Lee Hauge Sime; his children, David P. (Judy), Linda Coleman (Dick), Donna M. Bolstad, Donald (Susan), Dawn D. Hauge (Butch), Ruthie A. Williams, Jolene G. Wilson and Kermit T. 'Terry' Sime (Kathy); and his siblings, Geraldine Faerber, Roger Sime (Elaine), Janice Roberts, Mary Lou Burton, John Sime (Louise) and Jim Sime (Lila). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers or plants memorials should be directed to the charity of the donor's choice in Herman's name.
