He was predeceased by: his parents, JoAnn McEwan and Donald Cole; and his daughter Brenda Rowsell. He is survived by: his wife Scherry Jane West of Elgin; his children, Richard Stuart (Mindy), Rachel Guyman (Nate), Bryan Stuart, Joshua Poulin and Lance Ross (Andrea); and his half-siblings, Janice McCullough and Ray Cole (Sherri). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
