It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Johnson of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, born in Bagley, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 18, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Johnson and Henrietta Johnson (Franzen); his sister Marietta Gilbertson; and his sons, Michael Johnson Sr. and Jay Gokey.
He is survived by: his wife Burnita; his children, Sheila Lipa (Dean), Neal Johnson (Nereyda), Ryan Johnson (Rebecca), Jennifer Budde (Paul Jr.), Charles Gokey (Nicole), Kellie Gokey-Ronnfeldt (Terry Mullikin) and Corey Gokey (Mindi); and his siblings, Everett Johnson (Phyllis), Shirley Sedlemayr and Irene Schauf. He is also survived by loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
