He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Sr. Zimmerman and Ardelle Zimmerman (Zabel); and his siblings, Cordelia Titlbach, Eva Davis, Marilyn Paczynski and Eldon Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Check of Prairie; his brother Steve "Tim" Zimmerman (Debra) of Bloomington, WI.; and his nieces, Krista Zimmerman (Frank Cipra) of Prairie, Alisha Smrcina (Troy) of Prairie and Chien. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
