He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Wood and Hazel Wood; his wife Judy; his children, Dorothea Horsfall and Darrell Harms; his son-in-law Pete Smith; and his siblings, Ruth Simmons, Marie, Harold and Arthur Wood.
He is survived by: his children, Davina Matthews (Ken), Dana Reed, Dorrene Smith of Lake City, MN, Danney Harms (Angie) of Olin and Donna Gillilland (Kim) of Prairie; his children-in-law, Paul Horsfall of Waukon, IA and Kathy Harms of Tipton, IA; his brother Leonard Wood (Nelia) of Monticello, IA; and his sister-in-law Lonnie Wood of Mechanicsville, IA.
