With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Linda Cook of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Linda left this world on November 3, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaylord Smethurst and Carole Smethurst (DesRocher); her husband James Cook; her brothers, Skip and Ronald Smethurst; and her niece Jeanne Smethurst.
She is survived by: her children, Marty Prew (Donna), Darren Prew (Penny) and Andra Meana (Brett Toberman); her siblings, Richard Smethurst (Jan) and Marilyn "Molly" Seymour; her sister-in-law Marilyn Smethurst; her grandchildren, Ali, Ben, Lizzie, Kyler, Jerica and Gavin; her great grandchildren, Adelyn and Chiara; Adam.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Garden View Place in Monona, IA or St. Croix Hospice.
