He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Powers (Berntgen) and James Powers; and his siblings, Gordon Powers and Margaret Wachter. He is survived by: his wife Clara (Mezera); his daughters, Sheryl Srivastava (Sunil) of Chicago, IL, Julie Powers of Normal, IL and Sandy Vincent (Dan) of Rockford, IL.; his grandsons, Nick and Aneil; and his brother John Powers (Annette).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Croix hospice.
