He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Pielmeier and Viola Pielmeier; his brother Melvin; his niece Karen Fryer; and his brother-in-law Clarke Sievert.
He is survived by: his sister Kathy Tegen (John); his sibling's children, Karla Kennedy (Bernie), Kristi Meier (John), Kevin Pielmeier, Andrew Sievert, Renata Waack (James), Chantell Sievert, Erik Tegen (Renee) and Ruslan Tegen (Beth); and his sister-in-law Ilse Pielmeier.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated in memory of Tom to the Sievert Scholarship Fund at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN.
