He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Batson and Sarah Pauline Batson (Wells); his spouse Carol Woodrick; his brother Dean; and his son-in-law John Gifford.
He is survived by: his children, William Batson Jr. (Lois), Ridgeville, Michael Batson of Prairie, Chien and Linda Gifford of Prairie; and his sister Barbara Maxwell (Don). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
