He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Rodenkirch and Eunice Rodenkirch (Pohle); his son John; his sister Ruthann Therring; his parents-in-law, Jerry and Helen Trentin; and his brothers-in-law, Bruce Trentin, Jerry Fernette and Michael Lochner.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Trentin; his children, Tina Osterhaus (John) and Bill Rodenkirch (Deanna); his grandchildren, Joshua Osterhaus, Jennifer Peak (Justin) and Andrew Osterhaus (Megan); his great grandchildren, Amelia, Finnley Osterhaus, Layla, Paxton Peak, Ethan and Ella Osterhaus; his stepgrandchildren, Steffanie Kohn (Brian), Stacia Stephenson (Tim), Vanessa Beckman (Charles) and Weston Nemitz; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Madison Devlin, Everly Stephenson and Olivia Beckman; his sister Virginia Lochner (Sis); and his brothers-in-law, Jerry Pat Trentin, Tony Trentin (Chris) and Jim Trentin (Cheryl). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
