The passing of Rolland L. Schoephoester of Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin, born in Markesan, Wisconsin leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 19, 2025 at the age of 86. Though Rolland may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rolland touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Shirley Nelson of Rio and Richard Schoephoester of Green Lake. He is survived by: his wife Karen Schuster of Woodland, WI; his grandchildren, Noah, Matthew and Hisa; and also, Peter (Kathryn) of Madison and Jason (Cat) of Middleton.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (1701 McKenna Blvd, Madison, WI 53711). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Madison, Trinity Luthran Church, Minocqua or Agrace Hospice.
