She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Boots" Thompson and Lucille Thompson (Uecker); her husband Pete; and her sister Peggy Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Traci Nygaard (Scott Paris), Carl Huff (Kathy) and Brandon Nygaard (Rose); her grandchildren, Tristan Huff, Annabella Huff, Maverick Nygaard and Astrid Nygaard; her siblings, Duane Thompson (Mary Jo), Lynn Thompson, Janet Thurier (Lorne) and Julie Hoerres (Dallas); her siblings' children, Matt Rung (Siobhan), Tiffany Hoerres, Derek Hoerres (Markus) and Emily Newby (Robert); and her former husband James Huff.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith United Lutheran Church (11465 Old U, Gillett, WI 54124). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
