She was predeceased by : her parents, Elroy Hoegsted and Mary Edna Hoegsted (Mack); and her husband Harold Siferd. She is survived by : her son Steven Siferd; her granddaughters, Amy Miller (Nick) and Heather Siferd (Casey Svendsen); her great grandchildren, Jayden Rose Miller and Trace Austin Miller; and her siblings, Elroy Hoegsted, Sharon Brink and Linda.

She also enjoyed crocheting newborn hats for donation to Mayo's Family Birthplace, where her granddaughter is an RN.
