It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Elizabeth Smith (Racine, Wisconsin), born in Berlin, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 16, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Ziehm and Marguerite Ziehm; her husband Andy; her brothers, Robert Ziehm and David Ziehm; and her pet Max.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Smith of Madison, Mark Smith (Janelle) of Columbia, S. C., Paul Smith (Caroline) of Wauwatosa and Carolyn Jane Smith (Tim Moran) of Zionsville, Indiana; her grandchildren, Matthew Smith (Lillian) of Columbia, S. C., Shannon Smith of Isle and Brett Moran of Zionsville, Ind.; her great grandchild Matthew Stowe Smith of Columbia, S. C.; and her sister Kathryn Bolon of Sarasota, Florida. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
