He is survived by: his former spouse Beverly Carter (Austin); his mother Pearline Lowrey; his siblings, Edgar Carter, Jeffery Carter (Kimberly), Daryl Carter (Cassandra), Abbott Carter (Victoria), Alfred Carter, Elaine Carter, Amanda Carter, Chrissy Carter and Renee Borko; his daughters, Marsha Carter and Mielisha Carter; his stepchildren, Nathan Gains and Natalie Jackson; his grandchildren, Da'lesha Carter, Da'Niyia Cunningham, Zakariah Carter and DeJarvis Carter; and his uncle Clarence Jefferson Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
