She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie and Gladys; her former husband Samuel R. Jones; her siblings, Albert Chambliss (Dorothy Mae), Willie Floyd Chambliss, Bernice Moore and Bertha Jones; and her brother-in-law Rev. Frank McCarty.
She is survived by: her children, Terrence W. Jones of Racine and Yvette Hosey (William) of Brownsburg, IN; her grandchildren, Ashlin, Tre, Donovan and Sebastian; her great grandchildren, Harmoni and Ace; her siblings, Howard Chambliss (Willie), Lottie McCarty and Mittie Chambliss; and her sister-in-law Martha Chambliss. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends.
