He was predeceased by : his parents, Chester R. and Mildred E.; his brother Allan McInnis; and his siblings-in-law, Annabelle Paul, Rose Jelinek, Mary Macko, Linda Paul, Marti McInnis, Esther Andersen, Andy and George Paul.
He is survived by : his wife Elaine Paul; his children, Gail Whittier (Jim) of Mount Pleasant, Laura Knoch (John) of Mount Pleasant and Kathryn Kaplan (Steve) of Oak Creek; his grandchildren, Corrine Lawler (Tom) of Ames, IA, Grant Whittier (Rachel) of Monterey, CA, Brenna Knoch of Mount Pleasant, Kolton Knoch of Mount Pleasant, Seth Kaplan of Oak Creek and Taryn Kaplan of Oak Creek; his great grandchildren, Jude, Solomon, Adielle Lawler of Ames, IA and Artemis Whittier of Monterey, CA; and his siblings, Joan Nagy (Julius) of Sparks, NV and Lee McInnis of Watertown. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
The family has suggested memorials to Epiphany Lutheran Church or Shoreland Lutheran High School Foundation.
