He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard and Emma; his son Randall; and his siblings, Myrtle Scott (Harvey), Iris Erickson (Don), Orville Aukland (Sharon) and Gene Aukland.
He is survived by: his wife Marvel Nygaard; his children, Charles, Michelle and Kurt Aukland; his siblings, Donald Aukland (Jean), Ruby Pahl (William) and Monica Shideler (Tom); and his sister-in-law Connie Aukland. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
