She is survived by: her children, Felesia Newberry and Ahmad Qawi (Angela); her siblings, Margaret Ann Drisdom (Willie), Theodore McClelland, James McClelland (Flossie) and Charles McClelland (Karen); her grandchildren, Thomas Newberry, IV, Ahmad Qawi Jr., Samad Qawi, Imad Qawi, Jayden Qawi, Trulesia Newberry and Kevin Newberry; her great grandchildren, Tariq Andre True Banks and Tommi Leaf Green; and her sister-in-law Marilyn McClelland. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
