She was predeceased by: her husband Erwin "Powerhouse" Arndt; her son-in-law Edward Slankard; her granddaughter Nikole Arndt; her brother-in-law Vernon Arndt; and her siblings, Mildred Mitchell, Velma Hellish, Harmie Madden, Norman Wilke and Clarence Wilke.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Arndt (Shari) of Random Lake and Barbara Slankard of Kansas City, KS; her grandchildren, Jeff Arndt, Rhonda Bahr, Cortni Arndt, Chad Arndt, Jeffrey Oertle and Tanya Snyder; her brother Howard Wilke; and also Megan. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions for a to be determined memorial in Ilma's name.
