She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Johnston and Naomi Johnston (Shane); and her brother Dennis Johnston. She is survived by: her husband Jim Berry; her children, Rebecca Berry (Lina Soblyte), Katie Chu (Chris), Joshua Berry and Rachel Marcella (Robert); her grandchildren, Caroline, Alyana, Henry, Charlotte, Charles and Josephine; and her siblings, David Johnston (Connie), Dottie Hayes (Jim) and Donna Austin (Jeff). She is also survived by many sisters and brothers in law; nieces, and nephews, and other family and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:45 PM at the Farber Funeral Home (2000 Viking Dr, Reedsburg, WI 53959). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
