As we bid David farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For David is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Gibeaut and Angeline Gibeaut (LaRue); his brother Michael Gibeaut (Carol); his brother-in-law Don Brandt; and his sibling's children, Katie Brandt and Matthew Horkan.
He is survived by: his children, Angie Setter (Chuck) and Mark Gibeaut; his sisters, Patricia Brandt, Joan Mortimer (Dennis) and Mary Horkan (Tim); his former wife Sheila Gibeaut; and his aunt Gloria Loeding (Lyle). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins along with other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Club (E4889 WI-33, Reedsburg, WI 53959).
