He is survived by : his wife Virginia Ziemer; his children, Donna Ditzel (Jeff) of Minneapolis, MN and David Ziemer; his daughter-in-law Diane Ziemer; his grandchildren, Matthew Ziemer (Caitlin) of San Francisco, CA and Katelyn Hagenow (Dan); and his siblings-in-law, Beverly Kalies, Janet Kalies, Betty Zarnoth (Pete), Nancy Raatz (Norm), Marlene Kalies, Ralph Kalies (Elaine), Elroy Kalies, Lloyd Kalies, Shirley Jandrey (Eugene) and Carl Kalies. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
