He was predeceased by: his father Frank Dykstra. He is survived by: his wife Joan Dykstra of Reeseville; his children, Joshua Dykstra (Shanna) of Mayville and Jill Dykstra of Israel; his grandchildren, Julian Dykstra, Laci Dykstra and Tessa Dykstra; his mother Aletha Dykstra of Colorado Springs, CO; his sister Pat DeKam (Wayne) of Colorado Springs, CO; and his close friends, Abby Kooiman and Emma Kooiman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in James Dykstra's name to Faith Community Christian Reformed Church, memo: Jill Dykstra Israel.
