He was predeceased by : his parents, Marvin Dopkins and Deloris Dopkins; his brothers, Roy, Charles and Kenneth Dopkins; and his brother-in-law Jerry Jensen.

He is survived by : his children, Jenny Scott (Shannon), Dan Dopkins (Amy), Susan Schultz (Steve), Amy Rowlinson, Serina, Landon, Holden Scott, Hallie, Cole, Josh, Connor Dopkins, Erich, Ryan, Ethan Schultz, Kobe and Kiara Rowlinson; and his sisters, Ann Jensen and Joyce Schueller (Leo). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
