It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John A. Kohlrus of River Falls, Wisconsin, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on January 5, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Kohlrus and Theresa Kohlrus (Hoffman); his wife Mary L. Blackburn; his son Timothy Kohlrus; and his grandson Christopher Kohlrus.

He is survived by : his children, Mary Beth Sommers (John Field) of River Falls, WI, Trudy Suddes of Powell, OH, Mark Kohlrus (Rosemary) of Oak Park, IL, Tucson and John J. Kohlrus (Mary Jo) of Monticello. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
