With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Barbara Jean Spude of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Barbara left this world on July 24, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard A. Larsen and Mildred E. Larsen (Hengartner); her sister Nancy Bero (Ken); and her brother-in-law David Spude. She is survived by: her husband Robert Joseph Spude; her children, Jennifer Hentges (Peter), Steve Spude (Tamara) of Woodbury, MN, Sarah Olson (Charley) of Sturgeon Bay and Andrew Spude (Jenny); her grandchildren, Austin, Zachary Spude, Annika, Mia Olson, Katie and Tess Spude; her brother James Larsen (Mary) of Sturgeon Bay; and her siblings-in-law, Lois Garrity (Jerry) of Baileys Harbor and John Spude (Jill) of Hawthorn Woods, IL.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 3:40 PM at the Huehns Funeral Home, Inc. (1414 Michigan St, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235). Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A wake was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Parish Wake Service (1414 Michigan St, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (110 N 5th Ave, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235).
