He was predeceased by : his wife Eleanor; and his brothers, Joseph, Norbert, Florian, Adam and Conrad.

He is survived by : his children, Mark Oleinik (Susan), Pamela Oleinik (Eric Thobaben), Sue Broadfoot (Dave), Robyn Kieffer (Thom) and Diane Brown (Tim); his grandchildren, Ann Oleinik (Kam Foruhar), Robert Oleinik (Maggie), Michael Oleinik, Elizabeth Rogers (Jordan), Andrew Heston (Amanda Dahlke), David Broadfoot (Kate), Joe Broadfoot (Jenny), Jonathan Broadfoot (Makayla Hirst), Mark Brown (Rachel Jackson), Dan Brown, Lexi Brown, Julia Brown, Alaina Brown and Jon Brown; and his siblings, Paul Oleinik, Vern Oleinik, Thomas Oleinik, Roseann Gusman, James Oleinik and Loretta Robl.
