He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Arvai and Barbara Arvai; his parents-in-law, Mariano and Rosalina Salemi; his siblings, Steven Arvai and Margaret Boetcher; and his siblings-in-law, Josephine Neidhardt, Phyllis Arvai, Don Neidhardt and Jack Boetcher.
He is survived by : his wife Madaline; his children, Joseph III Arvai (Cindy), David Arvai (Susan) and Barbara Larrabee (David); his grandchildren, Joseph IV Arvai (Betsey), David Arvai Jr. (Lisa), Cindy Fergusen (Michael), Gary Parker (Jen) and Michael Goll; his great grandchildren, Joseph V, Chloe Arvai, Talia, Olivia Arvai, Sophie, Max Fergusen, Jackson and Elizabeth Parker; and his sister Theresa Cariello (Rudy).
