He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregor Blatz and Adela Blatz (Wagner); his wife Jeanette Rabe; his brothers, Glenroy Blatz (Hennie) and Marvin Blatz; his brothers-in-law, Jim Platz, Jimmy Endries, Everett Rabe (Delores), Kenneth Rabe and Ronnie Rabe; and his parents-in-law, Alvin Rabe, Helen Rabe and Ruby Rabe.
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Christine), Dan (Cathy), Brian (Marlene), Sandy Burkart (John), Cheryl Bathke (Gregg), Andy (Crystal) and Tony; his sisters, Mary Jane Platz and Jerriann Endries; and his siblings-in-law, Alvin Jr. Rabe (Helen), Edith Schneider, Kathy Rabe and Arlene Blatz (Doris Hitsman). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
