He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexius Ziegler and Alyce Ziegler (Becker); his wife Ruth Ann Woodburn; his grandchildren, Jamie and Justin Ziegler; and his siblings-in-law, Clara Ziegler, Bob Kruchten, Don, Harold and Charles Woodburn.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Cooper (Pat Ripp), Dale, Cheryl, Darrell (Kim), Cindy Drager (Jim) and Charlene Schmidt (Doug); his grandchildren, Cody Cooper (Crystal), Dustin, Holly Gehrke, Erin, Nicole, Macy Ziegler, Kaleena, Jaiden, Jonah Sherwood, Logan, Kelsie Drager, Taylor and Cayleigh Schmidt; and his siblings, Jim (Pat), Jacqulin Kruchten, Don, Bob (Monica), Joan Colstad (Tom), Jane Hart (John), Ed (Donna), Janice Dederich (Dick), Kathy Ziegler (Mark Ratto) and Lori Price (Jim). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Hooverson Funeral Home (251 Water St, Sauk City, WI 53583). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Norbert Catholic Church (8944 County Hwy Y, Sauk City, WI 53583).
