He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Frey and Martha Frey; his brothers, Lavern Frey and Art Frey; his sisters-in-law, Pam Frey (DeNoble), Carol Frey (Ballweg) and Maryellen Frey (Meinholz); and also, Lyle and Evelyn Sprecher (Kindschi).
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Frey (Sprecher); his daughters, Carrie Ballweg (Jon) and Amy Frey; his grandchildren, Alex Ballweg (Ryley), Aaron Ballweg (Abby), Andrew Ballweg (Cassie), Lexy Blake (Trae Runyan) and Lance Blake; his great grandchildren, Oliver Ballweg and Henry Ballweg; his sister-in-law Helen Frey; his siblings, Nancy Schoepp (Dave), Alfred Frey (Alberta), Marvin Frey (Darlene Kirch), Roger Frey, Richard Frey (Kris), Mary Ann Wipperfurth (Gary), Joan Campbell (Norman) and Diane Endres (Gerald); and his brother-in-law Steve Sprecher (Cheryl). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
