It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Pearl Braun-Gilbertson of Shawano, Wisconsin, born in Green Valley, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 22, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Wendt and Eleanor Wendt (Peterson); her former husband Leonard Braun; her son Ricky Allen; her spouse Emerald "Jack" Gilbertson; her half-siblings, Marjorie Severson, Dorothy Van Hoof and Kenny LaShy; her aunt Marion; and her uncle Bill Wendt.
She is survived by : her children, David Braun (Cheryl), Laurie Thompson (Tom), Carmen Braun (Gary Lambrecht), Sherry Jacobson (Rick), Cecil, Sheryl Yancy (David), Jeff Gilbertson (Marjorie) of Dallas, TX, Perry Gilbertson (Jodi) and Green Valley. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 27th 2021 at 9:00 AM at the Hillside Assembly of God Church (5890 State Hwy 22 E, Gillett, WI 54124). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 27th 2021 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
