She was predeceased by : her parents, Leonard Zirbel and Grace Zirbel (Otto); her sister June Jensen; her niece Cara Jensen; and her close friend Gene Kroening.

She is survived by : her children, Michelle Poremba (Tom) of Kenosha and Michael Petersen (Linda) of West Chicago; her grandchildren, Jennifer Frederick and Gene Petersen; and her brothers, David Jensen (Sharon) of Shawano and Michael Zirbel (Jackie) of Kenosha. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.
