He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sommer and Beatrice Sommer; his brothers, Michael Sommer and David Sommer; and his son Kolby Schaller.
He is survived by: his son David Sommer (Jamie); his granddaughters, Annalise, Jade and Fallon; his brother Robert "Blake" Sommer; and his sister-in-law Michelle Sommer. He is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces, and extended family and friends.
