He was predeceased by: his wife Dolores; his parents, Albert Jacks and Mathilda Kane; and his siblings, Josephine Louko (Walfred), Helen Ritschel (Joe) and Chester Jacks.

He is survived by: his child Debbie; his sister Loraine DeBoer; and his children, Silvar Rys, Linda Moyer (Bill) and Keith Jacks (Elaine). He is also survived by children, and 15 great grand children as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.
