She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Marx and Ella Marx (Lutze); her husband Ray Hameister; and her siblings, Orval (Cleora), Norman and Adeline (Ervin).
She is survived by: her children, DuWayne Hameister (Carla), Gary Hameister (Chris), LuAnn Pappas (Victor) and Cheryl Meyer (Paul); her grandchildren, Joseph (Katie), Michael, Steven, Jonathan, Maria (Alan), Carissa (Kyle), Ryan (Abbey), Maxwell and Jack; and her great grandchildren, Landon, Rowan, Holden and Natalie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Gertie's memory to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice or First Congregational UCC, Sheboygan.
