He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Sixel and Betty Sixel; his wife Susan; his daughter Stefanie Trakel (Justin); his grandchildren, Taylor, Mckenzie, Landon of Plymouth and Jennifer Arentsen (Jon); his great grandchildren, Alexis and Maci of Oostburg; his siblings, Gary Sixel (Vicki), Christine Hayon (James), Keith and Lee Sixel (Nancy); his sister-in-law Judy Wendt (Chuck); and his parents-in-law, Willard and Anita Kuester. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, aunt, uncle and many good friends.
A memorial has been established in Jeff's name for Trinity Lutheran Church, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and Sharon Richardson Hospice.
