He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Bersch and Esther Bersch (Ries); and his siblings, Charles, Frederick, Dennis and Mary Belle Werner.
He is survived by: his sisters, Joan Schnettler of Appleton, Esther Vadnais (Robert) of Woodstock, IL and Frances Bigari of Grafton; and his sister-in-law Mary Bersch of Mequon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Maggie Bersch Memorial Fund at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in John's name.
