She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard J. Jarvis and Shirley M. Burrows Jarvis; her husband Doug; her brother Richard Jarvis, Jr.; and her son-in-law Frank Geraci.
She is survived by: her former husband Douglas M. Born; her daughters, Mary Beth Lane (Donavan) and Jennifer Born Rutten; her siblings, Jill Dwyre (William) of San Dimas, CA and Jack Jarvis (Marian); and her sister-in-law Susan Jarvis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name for Friends of Mead Public Library with a designation for large print books.
