He was predeceased by: his parents, Erich Schulz and Clara Schulz (Mueller); his daughter Lisa Schulz Rohrer; his siblings, Ralph, Betty Benzschawel and Irene Sprenger; and his siblings-in-law, LaVerne Meyer, James Sprenger, Marvin Hemb and Roland Meyer.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Stein (Ginny); his daughter Jean Benzine of Silver City; his sister Margaret Hemb of Sheboygan; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Benzschawel, Evelyn Ramaker (Orlan) of Kiel, Wisconsin and Vonnie Hein (Glenn) of South Bend, Indiana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the memorials may be made in Ray's name to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice or St. Dominic's Catholic Church.
