He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Gumm and Hertha Gumm; his wife Ann Brunnbauer; his great grandchild Genevieve Isabel; his sisters, Geraldine Froh and Beatrice Schlafke; and his brother-in-law Robert "Bucky" Brunnbauer.
He is survived by: his nephew Mike Froh; and his children, Anne Heim (Brad) of Ada, Anita Von (Frank), Puetten of Sheboygan and Richard Gumm (Katherine) of Sheboygan. He is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in Ron's name towards Alzheimer's research and support.
