He is survived by: his wife Michelle Franzen; his former wife Corky Franzen; his children, Russell Franzen, Jr., Valerie Franzen (Craig), Samantha Meunier (Ricky), Melody Nichols (Wayne), Willie Steinhaus (Taylor) and Kevin Franzen; his great grandchild Olivia; and his brothers, Steve Franzen (Vicki) and Mike Franzen (Gail). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
